Even after his death Michael Jackson managed to create a music-industry record thanks to a deal between his estate and Sony.

The deal is worth almost $250 million which makes it the most lucrative recording deal ever.

As a part of this deal 10 new Michael Jackson albums will be released over seven years and the material will be a mixture of previously unreleased songs and rewrites of familiar ones.

Since Michael Jackson died back in June 2009, Sony has sold almost 30 million of his albums.

Michael Jackson’s first new record is scheduled to be released this November.
